My Discussions with Keith Melville
Reporter of Beacon Publishing House, Whakatane.

On 20th August 2002 I received a telephone call from the above named Keith Melville, asking me to go to his office as he would like to have a discussion with me pertaining to a "Letter to the Editor" which I had submitted for publication. This letter contained my opinions as to this town's council's attitudes and actions in relation to their methods in dealing with certain issues. Mr. Melville invited me to his office purely to discuss the content of this letter, which follows:

Letter to the Editor of The Whakatane Beacon

PAROCHIALISM BUREAUCRACY ENVY AND JEALOUSY PERVADES
IN WHAKATANE'S HIGH PLACES

The high priests of Whakatane are so bereft of the meaning of the term 'progress' their minds know only one closed system for Whakatane's future and sustainability, that of 'tourism'. Wasting countless thousands of dollars copycating all of B.O.P. larger towns is dressing the town up in anticipation of grandiose monetary returns from tourism. They simply continue to carry on with this crazy spree, with no hope in sight of the possibility of sustainability, of tourism.

There is no incentive whatsoever in making Whakatane a place that will attract manufacturers capable of employing hundreds of Whakatane's unemployed, new mentation has got to take place in this new millenium pace of progress.

I had plans to enlarge my research development centre and set up a large manufacturing facility which would have involved the employment of some 255 people with full time jobs. Now because of the delay bureaucracy has caused, overseas interests in my technologies have meantime escalated and this sudden progress was not anticipated and has resulted in the decision to move all facilities overseas. Whakatane's loss!

Development and manufacturing facilities plans are under way in Brisbane Australia, St Petersburgh Russia, Forest Grove U.S.A & Sri Lanka, with others now also being explored! Production of small units commences next month Sept 2002 at Forest Grove U.S.A, to be followed by St Petersburgh next, then Brisbane which will be the main facility and head office where the large high kilowatt machines will be manufactured.

Our first challenge now is the locating of skilled scientists of high calibre in the new energy dimension, to bring the larger machines into production. I have a lot of people involved in humanitarian projects who are visiting me from overseas countries, who are desperate to get access to my super electric generators, to assist in their quest in helping the peoples of third world countries who are in dire need of just basic decent living conditions, this need can not come about without the facility of electric power which will also provide healthy clean water.
