PART ONE

When first these messages of indignation came through to me, after a while I telephoned Messrs. Christie and Brits' Patent Attorney in Brisbane, a Mr. Carew, and spoke to him about the severity of the matter and that I had been urged by people worldwide to expose these individuals for these outrageous and fraudulent claims that they were making in the news media regarding their so called "World First" Lutec 1000 Motor/Generator. Just as an interjection, it will be interesting to note that at the beginning of my call to Mr. Carew I introduced myself to him as "Adams, New Zealand here." He instantly responded "Yes, Dr. Adams, I have heard of you. How can I help you." It seemed as though he had been waiting a while to hear from me. Not an odd assumption on my part. Anyway as the conversation, which was relatively short and not so sweet, went on and I made the point that this device was a plagiarism of the Adams technologies, and that many worldwide saw it that way, he made a statement that only a daft lawyer would be expected to make under such circumstance, i.e., "Well, anyone can tweak an invention and it becomes a totally different patentable invention. Surely you know that." Wham. Just like that. It was out - of the horses mouth!! I had to be quick here, because in all my 81 years on the surface of this planet, I had not been able to avoid the fact that when a Lawyer on the telephone might realise he may just have backed himself into some kind of a corner, he/she is very quick to replace the receiver in your ear. So I quickly reminded Mr. Carew that this invention, which is mine and was granted a British Patent in 1996 along with Dr. Harold Aspden of the United Kingdom, (who was IBM's Patent Director for 19 years) was placed in the public domain by international publication in the ***Nexus Magazine of Australia in December- January 1993 - 1994 (Vol 2 No.11) pages 31 - 36,*** and according to international Patent Law, thenceforth becomes unpatentable¹.

I also advised him that I had extensively lectured on the technology and that many thousands around the world are at liberty to replicate it BUT it remains forever unpatentable, even "Tweeked"! I briefly told him that one day I may just consider utilising the internet to expose this misappropriation and mismanagement of Patent Law, as their claim that their device being a "World First" is blatant arrogation and likely to arouse the wrath of many genuinely minded and far higher qualified scientists, inventors, physicists and engineers all around the entire world.
